Henri va a Parigi (Henri’s walk to Paris) is the delightful story of a young boy from Reboul in France, who dreams of going to Paris. One fine day he gathers his belongings together and sets off for the big city. Along the way, though, he decides to stop for a rest under a tree. And this is when Henri’s journey starts to get really interesting.

Published for the first time in 1962, Henri’s walk to Paris is a romantic tale brought alive by the unique skills of the great graphic artist Saul Bass, with words by Leonore Klein..

Saul Bass (1920-1996) was one of America’s most famous graphic designers and filmmakers. He designed major international logos and worked for legendary Hollywood film directors. His most famous title sequences include Preminger’s “The Man with the Golden Arm” and Hitchcock’s “North by Northwest” and “Vertigo”.
Henri’s walk to Paris was his only book for children.

Leonore Klein wrote various children’s books in the Sixties and Seventies and was an expert librarian. Besides her literary activities she was also passionate about the art of fishing.
